I recently made some new food changes to my diet. I replaced my high GI low nutrient white bread with wholesome whole grain bread. I stopped eating corn chips and cookies. I upped my intake of vegetables by eating a salad for lunch on the days I am home. I have been adding black beans to my salads and mushrooms. Very good! I love the salads, and I notice I have more energy on the days I eat them. I have been drinking the Healthy Lifestyle Tea (green tea with lemon). Love the green tea, but still getting used to the taste of not sweetening it with honey. I'm not using oil to cook with, and when I do use oil it is extra virgin olive oil. I only use butter now to cook eggs, and just a little bit. So, my surrounding foods are already changing, I have other changes planned for next week!
